Manners Make a Difference

East View Students have been learning about the importance of manners in our daily lives. In September we were promoting the use of please and thank you and each month thereafter we have selected a different manner. These include: excuse me, pardon me, greeting people and spreading acts of kindness. At the Student of the month Assemblies, we have been celebrating the promotion of these manners and rewarding students who were caught doing things well. Manners help make our school a happier, healtheir and better place to be for everyone. We have certainly seen a difference in the respect our students have for their teachers and peers at school. I encourage you to take the opportunity to talk with your child about some of the manners that we have been promoting.
